Thank you for applying for to the Chevening Scholarship Scheme. This year we received applications from many outstanding candidates and we have been impressed with the achievements and enthusiasm of all those that we short-listed for interview.
Unfortunately, as our funding is limited, we cannot support every application. The competition this year was extremely strong and after careful review of all interviewed applicants, we regret to inform you that you did not make our final shortlist. We are, therefore, unable to offer you a place on the scholarship programme.
I am sorry to write with such disappointing news. Should you have any questions about further study in the UK, the Education team of the British Council are always on hand to guide and assist you.
